Bangladesh Furniture Industries Owners Association (BFIOA) is the prime Association of the sector in Bangladesh. It has started operation first in 1976 and today is very much active as a business association with a view to deliver support to it’s over 1,300 listed members from different parts of the country. The regional Committees of BFIOA, elected by the producers of different regions are the representatives of the SMEs for their regions and the implementing bodies of the action plans taken up by BFIOA. The head quarter of the Association is located in an owned space sizing about 232 square meters in the heart of Dhaka city. The election process elects 34 members of Executive Committee of BFIOA for every four years by direct voting of all members.
